SOKO Institute

SOKO Institute is an independent research institution located in Bielefeld. Founded in 1991 by Dr. Henry Puhe, it has become an established full-range provider of research-based infrastructure services in the collective area of empirical social and market research. SOKO’s experienced research team conducts national and international ambitious research projects and uses quantitative, as well as qualitative methods of collecting data. A team consisting of permanent and freelance interviewers, with different native languages and language skills, work under the management of four supervisors with the data collection software VOXCO in its own in-house call-center with fully-equipped CATI stations. Besides interviews over the telephone (CATI), personal (CAPI) and online (CAWI) interviews are carried out. Collected data is evaluated with SPSS and STATA software. Field- and method reports, as well as profitability reports ready for publication are written and presented.

Our scientific staff is responsible for conception and conduction of research projects and is defined by reliability, professionalism, expertise and long standing experience which is visible in the multitude of previously conducted research projects.
Our Team

Since 1991, SOKO Institute has worked on behalf of public and private entities such as ministries, universities, institutes, unions, companies and other organizations. Through the cooperation with different organizations, SOKO Institute developed a diversified scope of research and covers all areas of empirical social and market research with it.

To be able to work on a superior scientific level in all areas of social and market research, SOKO Institute owns an in-house call-center equipped with the latest technology for data collection and quality management. In addition, it has its own room for group discussion with a one-way mirror and a separate observation room.

Guidelines and Quality Standards

Quality, professionalism and data protection are top priorities for our studies, evaluations and interviews. SOKO Institute follows established national and international guidelines and quality standards, as well as legal regulations of the German Data Protection Law (BDSG):
