Education and Training

Education is not just an important condition for individual opportunities in life und a successful career, but also for social and political participation. Since people with a low level education are primarily affected by unemployment, it should be a top priority of educational institutions to equip the next generation with a good education.

Besides many other studies in this subject area, SOKO Institute conducted an evaluation of the nationwide obligatory transitional system “Kein Abschluss ohne Anschluss-Übergang Schule-Beruf in NRW” for the Ministerium für Arbeit, Integration und Soziales NRW (MAIS) in order to assess the impact of this state initiative.

Further projects in this area of research consist (apart from others) of commissions of the Federal Employment Agency (BA), the Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) or the Ministerium für Arbeit, Integration und Soziales NRW (MAIS).

For these commissions SOKO Institute interviews students, teaching personnel, education specialists and others, especially in the form of class room surveys. Because of these commissions, the Institute possesses a great deal of experience and applies it again and again in order to optimize research work and guarantee high quality work.
